Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Review: The Best and Coolest Controller I’ve Ever Used

I’ve been using the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller for a few months now, and I can confidently say this might be the best controller Nintendo has ever made—and easily the coolest. After spending countless hours playing Mario Kart World , Splatoon 3 , and DK Bananza , here’s my honest take on why I think this controller is worth every penny. First Impressions Right out of the box, the Switch 2 Pro Controller makes a strong impression. The black and gray color combination looks premium, while the matte finish feels smooth and satiny to the touch. It’s also lighter than the original Switch Pro Controller —240 grams compared to 252 grams. That small difference makes it surprisingly more comfortable to hold, especially during long gaming sessions. My hands don’t get tired, which is a huge plus for marathon play.
